Why Do I See People Using Reusable Water Bottles?

Answers vary depending on the person, from looking cool to wanting a beverage container that won’t spill. A good environmental reason would be because they reduce a significant amount of very avoidable plastic waste.
Things i like about reusable water bottles:
-If i am at a party, my water bottle is easily recognized from the plastic cups provided.
-Most fast food places will let me use it instead of the cups they provide and it holds more than their cups!
-It has a lid.
-It won’t break easily.
-It won’t end up in a landfill any time soon.
-I can enjoy the stickers i put on it for a long time.
-It allows me to get free water in a single cost container comparable in cost to a couple disposable bottles of water.
