You should be able to if your area takes type 2 plastic. You might want to check with your area first. Also, use scissors to cut out the chip and the hologram (the 3D-looking shiny part) out first since they aren’t straight plastic. You might want to consider your account security if the card has useable information on it, so i might recommend throwing half in a separate recycling bin.

Other people’s websites might be worse (or better) than mine. They might have false, rude, inappropriate, or otherwise disagreeable content on them. They might have taken down their website since i last viewed it in 2020. None of those issues are my problem.
